The 300M Motorized Ultrasonic Hardness Tester is a portable durometer developed by our group for hardness testing both on-site and in the laboratory. It uses the Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) method to measure material hardness efficiently and conveniently.
Introduction
The 300M is a portable hardness tester suitable for hardness testing of coatings and plated surfaces. It can effectively measure the hardness of chrome plating, copper plating, carburized layers, and nitriding layers.
As a non-destructive testing (NDT) hardness tester, the 300M produces a very small contact indentation that is difficult to observe without a high-power microscope. This makes it a suitable solution for testing the hardness of finished products such as molds, gears, shafts, rods, screws, rails, and other components.
The 300M can work with both motorized probes and manual probes, helping meet different testing requirements and surface conditions, including applications involving different levels of surface roughness.
